Welcome to GrocerAI. GrocerAI is an Agentic AI platform for grocery, health, and commerce, powered by 24+ specialized AI agents collectively referred to as “Jiva+” or “Jiva.” Our mission is to make healthy eating affordable and accessible to everyone in America.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GrocerAI’s website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Free Access & Mission Commitment

GrocerAI is committed to being a free, accessible resource for all consumers.

  • Access to GrocerAI and Jiva+ is free of charge for consumers.
  • There are no subscription fees for core features.
  • Our platform is designed to ensure equitable access to food, nutrition, and health intelligence.

To access and personalize your experience, you must create a free account using email or a social sign-in provider such as Apple or Google.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old and be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Nature of Services

GrocerAI provides:

  • AI-powered meal planning, nutrition guidance, and shopping experiences.
  • Personalized recommendations based on user inputs, preferences, and goals.
  • Intelligent basket-building that converts intent into actionable outcomes.

GrocerAI also enables seamless commerce experiences through integration with third-party platforms, with Instacart serving as our primary commerce partner.

Through this integration, users can:

  • Shop from 1,800+ retailers across the United States.
  • Access real-time product catalogs, pricing, and availability.
  • Seamlessly move from planning to basket to checkout.

This allows GrocerAI to deliver a nationwide, retailer-agnostic shopping experience.

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with platform performance.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit AI systems.
  • Use the Services for unauthorized commercial purposes.

6. Pricing & Commercial Use

  • Consumers: GrocerAI and Jiva+ are free to use.
  • Business / Enterprise Services: May be offered under separate agreements.

7. Data & Third-Party Integrations

GrocerAI relies on third-party providers and platforms, including Instacart as our primary commerce partner, for:

  • Product catalogs and assortment.
  • Pricing and availability.
  • Order fulfillment and delivery enablement.
  • Nutrition and health-related datasets.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy or completeness of third-party data.
  • Real-time availability of products or pricing.
  • Performance or availability of third-party services.

Your interactions with third-party platforms may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, software, and AI systems, including Jiva+, are the property of GrocerAI or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. GrocerAI disclaims all warranties, including accuracy or reliability of outputs, fitness for a particular purpose, and continuous or error-free operation. AI-generated recommendations are for informational and educational purposes only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrocerAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, or decisions made based on platform recommendations.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrocerAI and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, with jurisdiction in Cincinnati, Ohio.
